This certificate course takes approximately 8 hours to complete, and gives you the physical foundation of unarmed self-defence.
You will physically train, practice skills and prepare for the real world through learning basic human anatomy, injury recognition, balance & coordination, effective striking principles, target acquisition, explosive power generation, situational awareness, and controlling the physical environment around you.
This certificate course takes approximately 12 hours to complete, and teaches you what to do if you are facing one or more threats while standing up.
Building upon the skills and theory that you learned in Self-Defence Fundamentals, you will now learn about weapons, multiple attackers, vectors of attack, vectors of escape, disrupting balance, disrupting geometry, physical engagement, physical disengagement, and how to continue moving while facing a threat.
This certificate course takes approximately 12 hours to complete, and now teaches you what to do if you are on the ground and need to stop a threat that is physically seated or lying on top of you.
You will apply the same skills acquired in the previous courses, but now within a physically-limited and time-restricted environment. You will learn to protect yourself against sexual assault, strangulation, and repeated strikes to your head/neck/torso.
This certificate program pulls together all of the lessons learned in the previous three courses, and allows you to both practice your self-defence ability and analyze your performance in a safe and controlled environment.
The time to complete this module is dependent entirely upon the number of situational scenarios that you want to explore. You will not only receive instructor-initiated scenarios, but you will also have the opportunity to design custom scenarios based upon your individual personal safety concerns.
For all the talk of knowing when to fight, and when to run away, most people fail to actually PRACTICE running away, controlled falling, and quickly getting back up. They also neglect to practice explosive power generation, compound movement, and precision striking.
The Fit-To-Fight Program is continuing training that focuses on maintaining the skills and abilities that you have learned in all previous courses.
This program is reserved for active duty peace officers, first responders, and corrections personnel who want to improve their reaction time to address violent suspects, weapons threats, or multiple attackers inside their 21-foot radius when the use of a firearm or other defensive tool is not a viable tactical option.
The module covers the advanced theory and practice of empty hand hard control within an on-duty grievous bodily harm or death context.

Community Safety Seminars are hosted in person each week, and address the topic of violence openly, honestly, and intellectually in a classroom style format.
Through practical, evidence-informed discussion, we examine common threats affecting women, children, and seniors, deconstruct the circumstances in which violence occurs, and explore realistic strategies for prevention, personal protection, and decisive action.
